All of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, I've been posting 3 easy tips across a few categories of cybersecurity. Today, on the 31st - Halloween - I'm being less specific, and posting from the heart. The scariest thing that can happen on Halloween is that you get brought down by a cybersecurity problem that could have been avoided. Easily avoided, and for an astonishingly small amount of money compared to the hundred thousand dollar price tag on cybersecurity recovery.

You're a SHERO - a Small Business Harnessing and Empowered by Real-life Opportunity.

SHEROs, do three things to invest in yourself and your future. No tech skills required, no insane learning curves, no being fleeced for a solution that's not right for your business size.

  1. Do something. Something is always better than nothing. Start with, don't use the same password for all of your ish. Even if you keep the passwords in a little notebook in a desk drawer. Just make it that much more difficult for the baddos to get into your stuff. Just like the rest of us, they're in a hurry. Make it so that they pass you by looking for the smallbiz owner with no security controls in place. Kay?

  2. Get the free help from my website - get the download of around a dozen super-important things you can do without needing to be technical, then do them! Start with whatever is easiest for you, and feel great about it.

  3. Invest in the Course. Four Modules you do at your own speed, with a certificate of completion. All the information, and documents, you need to show

    1. your bank,

    2. your insurance company, and

    3. your customers

that you take your own business seriously enough to secure it from common threats. I've priced it so that even the smallest business with cashflow can use the Course, broken out into 3 interest-free payments.

SHERO, I say this a lot because I mean it. You deserve to preserve what you've built.

Finish 2025 strong - make a reasonable effort to secure your small business so you can focus on making money with what YOU're good at! - xo Larisa
