You are a SHERO — Small-business Harnessing & Empowered by Real-life Opportunity — and guarding your inbox is your first line of defense.

Try these simple tips:

  1. Turn off Wi-Fi when you’re closed for the day or longer periods.

  2. Hide your network name (it's called your "SSID") so it doesn’t show publicly in your network settings on your router. Your service provider can talk you through this on the phone if need be.

  3. Only share your Wi-Fi password with trusted people.

These steps make it harder for attackers to find and access your Wi-Fi.

And you can focus on what you're good at!
